There’s no doubting that things have changed since we’ve last seen each other in person. COVID has changed the way we travel, eat, shop, and interact with one another over the past year. We’ve become accustomed to wearing masks, standing 6 feet away from the next person in line, and using hand sanitizer at every turn, all while trying to stay sane at home.
The world might seem a little different than it did in 2019, but SCALE is still committed to educating and connecting physicians specializing in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine and their staff through unique lectures, live patient demonstrations, powerful special sessions, a wide range of exhibitors, and tons more.
While we’re still the same SCALE, we have made a few changes for our 2021 meeting, including our NEW location in the heart of downtown Nashville – the Grand Hyatt Hotel. From the prime location to delicious dining, keep reading to see why we’re so excited to call the Grand Hyatt SCALE’s new home.

Dining
One of the best parts of traveling is the food! Luckily, if you’re staying at the Grand Hyatt, you don’t have to go far to find a delicious meal. In fact, you don’t need to leave the hotel at all! There are five restaurants located in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, with food and drink ranging from coffee and croissants to steak and wine. Let’s take a look at their options:
The Nashville Grange – A stylish yet casual venue, The Nashville Grange is inspired by the comforts and bounty of the farmstead and the agrarian legacy of the region. Our “Tennessee to table” menu offers only the highest quality ingredients and allows visitors and locals alike the opportunity to enjoy unique southern flavors with a modern twist.
lou/na – Serving the finest in both beverage and culinary creations, lou/na is the place to be seen in Music City and the crown jewel of both the Grand Hyatt and gathering spots in Nashville.
Hummingbird Coffee Market – In addition to a coffee house selection of drinks, Hummingbird features a variety of grab-and-go items like salads, sandwiches, assorted beverages and snacks, plus a delightful selection of pastries, muffins and sweet treats from our in-house artisans.
Aurum – A gilded space for people to gather, dine, and- like gold- shine, Aurum offers specialized craft cocktails, local brews- including a locally sourced and signature label golden ale- plus an upscale menu of small bites and local flavors. Located in the Grand Hyatt lobby.
The Continental – Grand Hyatt Nashville’s signature dining experience, located on the Lobby Level of the hotel, will feature a reimagined take on continental cuisine and classic American fare. Recipes are created by Chef Sean Brock.

Safety & Health Precautions
Although we are starting to see the light at the end of the COVID tunnel, we are still amidst a Global Pandemic. That being said, SCALE believes that the health and safety of our attendees is of utmost importance and we will continue to monitor and adhere to policy and guideline changes pertaining to COVID-19 procedures. The Grand Hyatt has also implemented their own COVID policies to help keep guests safe, healthy, and happy.
Per the Grand Hyatt Nashville website, the hotel is and has been implementing these guidelines during the pandemic:
GBAC START cleanliness and training accreditation process through the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) at all Hyatt hotels
Trained Hygiene & Wellbeing Leader or team at all locations, responsible for their hotel adhering to new operational protocols and training
Cross-functional panel of trusted medical and industry advisors—including experts from Cleveland Clinic—to help us fine-tune safety protocols and consider various aspects of the entire hotel experience
