Who Can Submit
SCALE Music City welcomes E-Poster abstract submissions from a wide range of contributors in the dermatology and aesthetic medicine fields. We offer two submission pathways based on the nature of the research and funding source:
Industry/Non-CME (Fee-Based Submission)
This pathway is for submissions that are supported, conducted, or sponsored by industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, or aesthetic companies). These submissions:
- May include company-affiliated authors or funding
- Often present date on clinical trials, product research, or observational studies
- Can be supported, conducted, or sponsored by industry
- Require a $1,250 non-refundable fee per abstract if approved.
Examples include:
- Industry-sponsored clinical trial data
- Investigator-initiated studies with industry funding
- Product safety or efficacy research
Education/CME (Complimentary Submission)
This pathway is intended for clinicians, residents, fellows, and academic researchers not affiliated with industry. These submissions:
- Must be independent of pharmaceutical/device industry support or funding
- Are general educational and noncommercial in nature
- Are eligible for complimentary submission with no associated fee
Examples include:
- Academic case reports
- Resident or fellow research projects
- Independent clinical or translational studies

Important Deadlines
- Final Abstract Submission Deadline: April 3, 2026
- Abstract Acceptance Notification Deadline: April 10, 2026
- Author Registration Deadline: May 1, 2026
- E-Poster Payment Deadline (for Industry/Non-CME E-Posters): May 1, 2026
Submission Process
All abstracts must be submitted through the official SCALE 2026 E-Poster Abstract Submission Form. See button to submission form below.
To have your abstract considered for inclusion as an E-Poster, you must:
- Complete a separate form for each abstract submission
- Ensure all information is accurate and complete at the time of submission
- Submit no later than April 3, 2026
Suggested Topics for Abstracts
Abstracts may cover any relevant topic within dermatology, aesthetic medicine, or related specialties. Examples of topic areas include:
- Acne and Rosacea
- Atopic Dermatitis
- Psoriasis
- Aesthetic Devices
- Cosmetic Surgery
- Dermatopathology
- Hair Loss and Scalp Disorders
- Injectables (toxins, fillers)
- Lasers and Energy-Based Devices
- Melanoma and Skin Cancer
- Pigmentary Disorders
- Regenerative Medicine
- Longevity
- Skin of Color Dermatology
- Skincare and Cosmeceuticals
- Surgical Dermatology
- Wound Healing and Repair
Poster Upload Guidelines
If your abstract is accepted as an E-Poster, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to upload your final E-Poster. You will be required to provide:
- Poster lead author name
- Primary contact email
- Poster title
- List of co-authors
- Upload final poster file (PDF format)
- Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels (landscape)
- Optional: Additional attachments such as supplementary figures (Max file size: 10.6 MB)
E-Poster Display Information
Accepted E-Posters will be on display for the full duration of the SCALE Music City 2026 Symposium.
Display Dates
Wednesday, May 13 through Sunday, May 17
E-Posters will be shown on multiple touchscreen televisions in the E-Poster designated space immediately adjacent to the SCALE educational tracks and accessible in the SCALE meeting mobile app. In addition, the E-Posters will be hosted on scalemusiccity.com for at least 6 months following the conclusion of the meeting.
Please also note the following:
- There are no formal E-Poster presentation sessions
- E-Posters will be viewable at attendee convenience
- Authors are not required to be present, but are welcome to discuss E-Posters informally
- At least one author from each approved E-Poster must register as an attendee (not as an exhibitor or sponsor) for SCALE 2026 by May 1, 2026.
NEW FOR 2026! SCALE is excited to announce a new opportunity: we are working to partner with a peer-reviewed journal to publish a special supplement featuring selected 2026 E-Posters.
On the SCALE 2026 E-Poster Abstract Submission Form, you will have the option to indicate whether you would like your abstract(s) to be considered for inclusion in this publication—or to opt out of consideration entirely.
