SCALE Rising Stars Program: Resident & Fellow Podium Presentations
SCALE is proud to support the next generation of physician leaders through the SCALE Rising Stars Program, offering selected trainees the opportunity to present their research live on-stage, connect with national faculty mentors, and expand their professional network at SCALE 2026 in Nashville.
This program is designed not only to recognize outstanding academic achievement, but also to provide meaningful career mentorship and industry engagement opportunities for residents and fellows.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please carefully review the requirements before submitting your abstract:
- Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the online portal.
- Length: Limited to 400 words, excluding title, author names, affiliations, and supplementary materials.
- Format: Divide into Title, Background/Synopsis, Objectives/Purpose, Design/Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
- Language: English only; ensure accurate grammar and spelling of publication quality.
- Drugs/Devices: Use generic names only; avoid logos or branded slide content.
- Proofread carefully to avoid errors before submission.
- Encore research is permitted but must disclose the original presentation date and venue.
- Financial Disclosure: All authors must disclose relevant financial relationships and funding support.
- Ineligible Company Restriction: Presenters may not be employees of ineligible companies as defined by the ACCME.
- All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the official SCALE submission portal. Each submission must be uploaded individually, and prior abstracts will not carry over or be accepted by email.
ACCEPTANCE & PRESENTATION PROCESS
All abstracts will be reviewed by the SCALE Abstract Review Committee based on quality, originality, and clinical relevance.
- Accepted abstracts will receive an invitation to present as part of the SCALE 2026 Rising Stars Program.
- Deadline to submit is April 3, 2026
- Notification of acceptance will be emailed by April 10, 2026.
- The top 10 abstracts selected will receive a stipend and free registration to SCALE. A $1,250 stipend will be provided to non-local presenters and a $500 stipend will be provided to local presenters.
