This activity is designed for physicians, residents and fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician associates, and other healthcare professional involved in care of aesthetics and medical dermatology patients.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

Compare the efficacy, safety, and appropriate use of aesthetics treatment modalities, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, body contouring technologies, facial rejuvenation procedures, and other minimally invasive cosmetic interventions.

Incorporate advances in lasers, light-based therapies, ultrasound, radiofrequency, and other energy-based devices into patient management strategies.

Assess current and emerging therapies for inflammatory and immune-mediated dermatologic disorders, including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa, rosacea, and vitiligo.

Evaluate advances in the treatment of skin cancer and other dermatologic conditions, including actinic keratosis, non-melanoma skin cancers, acne, hyperhidrosis, hair loss, and infectious skin diseases.

Develop individualized treatment plans that account for patient diversity, skin type, anatomy, treatment goals, and risk-benefit considerations across medical and aesthetic dermatology practice.
