Activity Overview

In recent years aesthetic products and treatment options in injectables, devices and minimally invasive techniques have continued to dramatically increase in popularity. With the influx of new therapies, technologies and procedures in dermatology and aesthetic medicine it is imperative for aesthetic providers to remain up to date on the safety and efficacy of these products for the best patient outcomes. The Facial Ultrasound Imaging Hands on Course will provide innovative education, skills, and techniques that attendees can immediately adapt into their current practice environment to provide safe, effective, and high- level patient care. This hands-on course will teach attendees the benefits of using ultrasound technology in facial aesthetics to ensure safe and effective injection technique. The course will be led by internationally recognized experts in facial ultrasound and anatomy.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of nurses, physicians, and physician assistants.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess the benefits of utilizing ultrasound technology for guided anatomy mapping and injections to prevent complications.
  • Review how to perform an Ultrasound examination of the face and injecting and identifying fillers under Ultrasound guidance.
