Dr. Marc Avram, MD will be joining us in Nashville as one of our 17th Annual SCALE Meeting faculty members this year! Dr. Avram is a board-certified dermatologist with a special interest in hair loss and hair restoration and has even authored five textbooks on hair loss, hair transplantation, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Sebastian Cotofana, MD, PhD, will not only be in Nashville as one of our SCALE 2022 faculty members, but he will also be helping us lead our special Anatomy Course workshop session this May! As an Associate Professor of Anatomy in the Department of Clinical Anatomy at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Cotofana originally got his start in medical research looking at gastroenterology and knee osteoarthritis, but soon turned toward facial anatomy and its clinical applications for plastic surgery, dermatology, and aging medicine. Board-certified dermatologist practicing at the Dermatology Institute in California, Dr. Peter Rullan, MD, FAAD, will be joining us in Nashville this year as one of our SCALE 2022 faculty members! As an aesthetic specialist that has been in a private practice since 1983, Dr. Rullan is an expert in the treatment of acne and psoriasis, chemical peels for acne scars, skin rejuvenation and pigmentation, tumescent liposuction and lipotransfer, skin cancer treatment with mohs surgery and reconstruction, immunodermatology and sclerotherapy.
Both Dr. Rullan and his collegues work and commitment to their patients can be seen through their posts on Instagram. 29. LW Schelke, MD, PhD
Dr. LW Schelke, MD, PhD, has been working as a cosmetic doctor and phlebologist (varicose vein specialist) since 2000. With over 20 years of experience, she not only specializes in cosmetic injectables threadlift, and vein treatments, but she also utilizes ultrasound technology in her work, which is a useful tool to enhance understanding of safety zones and improve patient outcomes. She will be joining us in Nashville this May not only as a SCALE 2022 faculy member, but also as one of the key leaders in our special session, “Facial Anatomy Workshop with Ultrasound Guided Facial Anatomy Techniques”.
On Instagram, Dr. Schelke’s unique approach to cosmetic injections using ultrasound technology can be seen in nearly every post. Each post shows the ultrasound image, clearly labels each item, and provides an in-depth explanation of what exactly we’re looking at in the caption of the posts. Other posts include videos of facial ultrasounds being performed and any events that Dr. Schelke has attended or will be attending. Manhattan-based, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Sachin M. Shridharani, MD, FACS, is the founder and medical director of Luxurgery in New York City. In addition to co-authoring over 100 peer-reviewed publications on the topics of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, championing drainless abdominoplasty, TubelessTuck, and being the first aesthetic specialist in NY to inject Kybella, he will also be joining us again this year as one of our SCALE 2022 faculty members!

32. W. Grant Stevens, MD, FACS
Dr. W. Grant Stevens, MD, FACS is not only the founder and Medical Director of Marina Plastic Surgery and The Institute, and the Medical Director of Orange Twist Brands, but he is also a faculty member of our 17th Annual SCALE Meeting this May! Dr. Grant has authored more than 60 articles and chapters on aesthetic plastic surgery, has been asked to speak at numerous International, National and Regional meetings, and is a a member of multiple medical societies.
Dr. Grant’s work can be seen on both his personal Instagram account as well as the Marina Plastic Surgery Instagram account. On his personal account, Dr. Grant shares a mix of posts that share both his experience in aesthetic medicine as well as his time outside the office. With over 30 years experience, Dr. Waldman is an expert in cosmetic procedures of the nose, face, and eyes, and has coordinated over 45 major medical conferences.
